Jamboard is a cloud-based, collaborative whiteboard developed by Google as part of G Suite family, it allows people to sketch out ideas and inspire each other. It is popularly known as Google Jamboard.

Also in the Jamboard you can choose the handwriting recognition tool and use your finger or the stylus to write text. The tool converts your handwriting into printed text.
you can also search and insert content from Google drive (it facilitates drag and drop option)
Jamboard also lets you search and insert internet content.
With a Jamboard tablet app and a G Suite account, you can access your team’s whiteboard wherever you go, and you can represent your Jamboard to your team with hangout meet straight from your mobile device.

Set up the Jamboard device
After you've powered on the Jamboard for the first time and connected the device to an open Wi-Fi network, a screen appears with an 8-character activation code.
On your computer, open a Chrome browser.
Go to the Jamboard Device Management Console.
Sign in to your G Suite account.
You need to sign in with an account on the domain you want the Jamboard to be set up with.
If this is the first time a Jamboard is being provisioned on the domain, a Super Admin account must be used to accept the Terms of Service. Afterward, anyone with the “Jamboard Management” privilege set in the Admin Console (admin.google.com) will have access to the Jamboard Device Management Console.
Click + at the top of the page to add a new device.
Enter a location and name for the Jamboard.
Type Eight digit code and click activate the device
Connectivity:
Jamboard & Hangout meet uses a Client/Server model on a preferred set of network ports.
Jamboard: A TCP( Transmission Control Protocol) connection from the participant to Google ports 19305 through 19309
Hangout: A UDP ( User Datagram Protocol) connection from the participant to Google on ports 19302 through 19309
Both: A TCP & UDP connection from the participant to Google on port 443 ( SSL) and 80

Methode 1: Email Address
Add people
Once an owner is added, the option to ‘Add people’ appears. Tap it and invite people via email address.
2) Email & notification
An email is sent to that address and if they have the app, a notification appears letting them know they have been added to the jam.
3) Add a group
The option to add an entire Google alias is an option as well.
Method 2: Jam Code
Turn Link sharing on
Tap ‘Add people’ and toggle ‘link sharing’ on an Eight character code will be generated
2) Enter the code
On mobile tap the ‘+’ symbol in the mobile app, then ‘join jam’ enter the code to join
How to use the Jamboard:
The activation code will appear when the Jamboard is powered on an open network, the code refreshes after every 10 minutes
The account used for provisioning must be that of a G Suite super admin
Connect to an open unrestricted network, additional enterprise network types will be available after the initial software update.
Ensure that a successful initial software update occurs so the device receives the latest updates, this could take up to an hour.
Precautions while handling the Jamboard:
Keep Jamboard out of sunlight and away from heat sources.
Keep the ventilation hole clear and unblocked.
Don't expose the display to dust, rain, or excessive humidity. If the display becomes wet, immediately power off and wipe dry.
Use a dry microfiber cloth to clean the display, never use the solvent or based liquid.
Power off the device when not in use for an extended period of time.
When the board is unplugged, wait 6 sec before plugging back in.
