Tour with Google Docs
Google Docs is a free Web-based application in which documents and spreadsheets can be created, edited and stored online. This article is a complete guide about Google Docs.

Google Docs is a Google’s browser-based word processor. Here the user can create, edit, and share documents online and access them from anywhere with an internet connection.
What differentiates Google docs from main desktop application Microsoft Word are its granting permissions. It is a first-word processor which offers shared online document editing. (Which includes view, comment, edit)
When a user shares a file with someone, the user can choose what they can do with it.
1) View: People can view, but can’t change or share the file with others.
2) Comment: People can make comments and suggestions, but can’t change or share the file with others.
3) Edit: People can make changes, accept or reject suggestions, and share the file with others.
There are also advanced features which allow the user to set the expiration date, prevent editors from changing access and adding new people, disable options to download, print, and copy for commenters and viewers
