Why choose Google cloud over outlook?

There are many reasons to choose Google cloud over outlook but most important reason is security. For Google, Gmail users web console is most secure because in order to use third party software you have to enable less secure app.

This paves way to get hacked because when user configures his/her account in outlook, User id and password get captured and stored in that system under Control panel Manage Windows credentials which may create some issues like password may not be accepted by the application if you change it from your admin console until you clear those credentials from Manage Windows credentials.

If a hacker gets access to your system, he/she can easily get your id and password and do anything. It is a major security breach.

There are some other points as well:

• In outlook every new mail, whether it is a reply for ongoing mail (in outlook you have options to make as conversation, but its default in Gmail), it arrives as new mail into your inbox, no threading happens.

• Searching any older data/conversations is easier in Gmail.

• For any calendar invitation in outlook if you accept/decline the invitation then that notification mail will not be visible anymore in your inbox but calendar will schedule the event.

• Form creation in outlook is difficult for normal users who don't have knowledge of VB but in Gmail cloud, it is far easier compared to outlook.

Since outlook is a desktop application, in case of any virus attack on your system, it can corrupt your outlook application and your mail backup PST file data, but in cloud platform like G-Suite/gmail your data will be safe.
