Now use Google Voice Typing to prepare your own document. Use voice commands to edit any Google Doc in Google Chrome Web Browser (exclusive).


Overview of Google Voice Typing:-

  • Go to docs.google.com to start voice typing any document  

  • Open one Doc Click on Tools

  • Click on Voice typing… when you are ready to speak

  • One Microphone (logo) box will appear

  • Speak in clear normal voice (slowly) in a quiet room

  • Click on the Microphone, once done.


To use Google Voice Typing feature the device’s microphone needs to be enabled and on the working stage. If the Microphone is broken, plug in an external microphone. Devices and microphones vary, so you may check the computer manual for instructions for adjusting the microphone, in case of any issue.


Google voice typing works in various languages and accents. Different punctuations work in Google Voice Typing using limited languages.


For editing, selecting, formatting or altering any document there are numerous voice commands. Voice commands are available only in English.


To stop voice typing, say "Stop listening."
