Connection Timed out error while connecting with Google Cloud SQL Instance

Error: Connection timed out error while connecting Compute Engine Instance with Google Cloud SQL Instance

Solution:

Follow the steps given below:-

1. Add external IP address of instance in cloud sql AUTHORISATION.

1. Enter into the cloud sql instance by clicking on the instance name from the console.

2. Click on Authorisation tab as shown in figure.

3. Add external ip address of virtual machine instance by clicking on +Add network. Enter IP address in the Network field, click Done and save the cloud SQL instance.
