Share Google Calendar with Other Users
Shared calendar makes it easy to manage a team’s work/vacation schedule. Team members can easily plan and share their schedule with other provisioned members.
Google Calendar can be shared among users.
The users who are given access to the calendar can view the events created by anyone among them.
To create a new Google Calendar--
Calendar-Settings-Add Calendar-Create New Calendar
Manage the permission if external users are given access--
Open settings for the new calendar-Manage permissions for public
Add users and manage the permissions implied upon them--
In the option, “Share with specific people” type user Id or group Id to add users.
Then change the option to
See only free/busy > View Status Only
See all event details > View Event Only
Make changes to events > Read/Write Events
make changes and manage sharing > Read/Write & Share✅
This will send a link to the mentioned Id stating that the user has given him/her access to manage events and sharing settings for the Google Calendar.
Now if the team member creates any event in the shared Google calendar, all those users who are given permission, can see the event.
