Google Rolled out New Changes in Google Calendar Events
With the help of the Google Calendar Event updates you can now make changes in the scheduled time of meeting or can add a note and the view of booked rooms got changed so that location duplication can never be occured.
Two recent updates from Google in the calendar will make it more flexible to create calendar events or make changes in the created events. These two new features are-

You can now propose a new time for meeting or you can add notes to the invites of the calendar from Gmail

Changes made in view of booked rooms of any calendar events.
Benefit of the first update:
After Jan 13, 2020, when you will open up any calendar invitation, you will be able to see ‘More Options’. From the dropdown menu, you can propose a new meeting time or you can add a note to the invites. If you select any one of the options it will directly take you to the event section in calendar.google.com.
Note that currently, the feature is only available for Gmail on the web.

For the rapid release domains: Started on Dec 9, 2019
For the Scheduled release domains: Starting on Jan 13, 2020
Availability: Available in all G Suite editions.
Benefit of the second update:
This is a slight change that has been made in finding resources and rooms in the calendar event. Previously you could find details about booked resources and rooms in the location field. According to the present update, you will find this information in the guest list.
This information can no longer be duplicated in the location field.
This change also helps you to clarify the exact geographic location of that event in the location field. It gives your guest clear information to understand the event location.

For Scheduled Release Domains: Starting on Jan 6, 2020.
