Audit Logs and Usage Reports in G Suite - Filter by Groups

Now you can filter audit logs and usage reports in G Suite by specific groups. When you add a new or existing group to an allowed list, you can then filter to see log events or usage reports by that specific group.

To make it more efficient to find log entries, and allow you to more quickly and easily focus on a specific target audience to better understand user account information, app usage, and security.

GETTING STARTED : -

Admin :

This feature is available by default and enables the control at group level.

End User : No end user impact.

To open the Groups audit log do the following

1. Login to the G Suite admin panel with the administrator credentials.

2. From the admin console homepage go to Reports.

3. On the left side under Audit there will be an option called Groups, Click Groups.

4. To customize what you review, on the right side click manage columns, Click on the Group option that is present by default and click save.

5. Now you can review your audit logs by Groups.
