Microsoft Teams Now with Windows 11

Microsoft has introduced the new Teams chat feature experience on Windows 11. This feature is intended for personal Microsoft accounts. It is a signature, lightweight experience for Teams personal account users to quickly start a video call or chat with friends and family.

Microsoft Teams Now with Windows 11

Windows 11 is the first version of Windows designed for hybrid work, and this new integrated Teams app is aimed towards reaching the progressively indistinct lines between our personal and work-associated activities.

This version of Microsoft Teams included with Windows 11 will support only consumer type of logins or personal logins into Windows. It is not mandatory to have an  Office 365 account to access Teams. People having this consumer version of Teams can use it to chat with one another and receive chat as SMS text messages, sort of like what Apple does with iMessage.

There are two clients on people’s computers: Teams labeled as work or school with the purple icon and Teams for personal use & with the same purple icon but there is T for Teams with Purple on a white background.

HOW TO USE:

You can use the integrated Teams app in Windows 11 but only with a personal account. For work or school accounts all you need to do is download and install a separate app.
