If you are an Outlook user and you are using POP3 protocol, do not worry to migrate your data. The best alternative you can use is the drag & drop solution.
First, you need to create a new account in email client by selecting IMAP protocol, then follow the steps given below:
Log in to your email client and create the new account in IMAP using settings
After configuring you have to verify that both the accounts are reflecting in your email client.
Go to old account tab and select all the old emails.
Simply right click on the email and move or copy that email to your new account path.
It will take some time to move or copy.
After completing all emails with the subfolder(s) you need to go to your account settings.
After that, see your old pop3 account .pst path backup data and take a backup copy for that old .pst.
Select the old POP account and Remove that old account.
Go to your client email tab window, click on it and close that account.
After deleting & closing the account, click on Send and Receive tab.
Now you can see that single account is active in your email client and it will auto sync your data with webmail interface.
This activity helps the end user to migrate their required data only instead of entire data and can be self performed.
Note:- Before performing this activity, kindly take all your old data backup copy in a different drive or take the advice from support executives if required.
