Giffy: the Low-Code Business Application Platform That Runs on Your Cloud

Giffy is a metadata-driven low-code platform by Infiflex Technologies for building complete business applications including CRM, billing, approvals, HR, custom modules that change in production without a rebuild, run single-tenant on your own cloud, and come with an AI copilot that can actually operate the system.

What is Giffy?

Giffy is a low-code/no-code application platform where you describe your business including entities, rules, workflows and the platform builds the running software: forms, approvals, documents, dashboards, APIs, and an AI assistant. Configuration handles most changes. When it isn't enough, real code (Java, Groovy, or JavaScript) compiles and deploys live in seconds.

Everything in Giffy starts from metadata. New record types, fields, screens and rules are configuration, not releases. The schema, list views and forms update instantly across the application and business logic hooks fire before and after saves on workflow transitions, on schedules and behind report buttons.

What can you build with Giffy?

Teams build complete operational systems on Giffy: customer and order management, quotation-to-invoice pipelines with GST-compliant PDF documents, approval workflows, HR and payroll processes, public websites, public portals and scheduled automations - all on one platform, with one permission model.

  • Dynamic entity model: Business objects with typed fields, validation, relations and per-role visibility.
  • Workflow & approvals: Stage-driven lifecycles with role-gated transitions and server-enforced guards: a rejected rule blocks the save, not just the button.
  • Documents as configuration: Bind a template to any entity and render pixel accurate PDFs- quotes, invoices, reports and letters.
  • Field-aware search: BM25-ranked full-text search across every entity, kept current by an incremental indexer.
  • Built-in CMS: Public sites and portals served from the same platform, mapped to your domains.
  • REST API surface: Every entity addressable over JWT-secured APIs with the same permission checks as the UI.

How is Giffy different from other low-code platforms?

Three things separate Giffy from typical low-code tools: real code is a first-class escape hatch (compiled Java/Groovy/JavaScript, not formula languages), changes deploy to production with zero downtime and no release window, and every deployment is single-tenant on infrastructure the customer controls. No shared SaaS tenancy.

Everything your team writes is versioned, reviewable source on a Java 21 / Spring Boot 3 foundation, not a proprietary black box. When a connector doesn't exist, you write it in governed platform code and deploy it live. No vendor roadmap required.

Can reports take action or only show charts?

In Giffy, reports are actionable. Every row can carry buttons that run governed, permission-checked server logic in place to approve, generate, close, escalate, convert. Traditional BI tools like Power BI or Looker Studio stop at visualisation. A Giffy report is a live work surface on operational data.

Action buttons respect the same role and record-level permissions as the rest of the platform, so an operations team can clear a week of pending renewals from a single report with every click audited and every guard enforced server-side.

Does Giffy have AI built in? Can it use self-hosted models?

Yes. Giffy ships with an AI copilot wired into more than a hundred role-gated platform operations. It finds records, updates data, runs workflow transitions, creates record types and runs health scans by chat. Model providers are pluggable. Run open-weight LLMs on your own infrastructure so data never leaves your boundary or connect frontier hosted models or mix both per use case.

  • Agent mode: A plan-first agent that diagnoses, proposes a step list and executes only on explicit approval, acting strictly as the signed-in user.
  • Module builder: Describe a module in plain language. Giffy drafts the entities, fields and flows as a manifest you confirm before anything is created.
  • Grounded answers: A retrieval layer over your own documents, so the assistant answers from your data.

Where does Giffy run and who owns the data?

Every Giffy customer gets a dedicated, single-tenant deployment. Their own project and database on cloud infrastructure they control. There is no shared tenancy. Security is enforced in the server with layered role, groups and record-ownership permissions on every entity and API route.

Giffy is cloud-portable: Cloud Run–native today, with a storage layer spanning Google Cloud Datastore and MySQL, and sign-in via form login, JWT APIs or OAuth2 SSO with Google, Microsoft or custom providers.

How do changes go live without downtime?

Business rules, integrations, reports, and screens deploy to a running Giffy system in seconds: DynaCode compiles at runtime against the full platform API, with no restart and no release window. Deeper platform changes roll across instances through config-driven rolling restarts, with dry-run tooling before anything touches real data.

What integrations does Giffy support?

Out of the box: Google Workspace mail, transactional email providers, OAuth2 identity, SAP HANA connectivity, OCR document extraction, direct-to-cloud file uploads and webhook-friendly REST APIs. For everything else, integrations are written in DynaCode, which is governed platform code that calls any third-party API and deploys live.

Frequently asked questions

Both, by design. Most of a system is built from configuration (no-code). Business logic that needs precision is written as real compiled code inside the platform (low-code), never a proprietary formula language.

Giffy is the platform those systems are built on. Infiflex and its customers run CRM, order-to-invoice billing, HR and support modules on Giffy. Each assembled from the same entity, workflow and document primitives.

Yes. Template-driven PDF generation covers quotations, proforma invoices, and tax invoices with GST breakup, e-invoicing workflows, and automated email delivery.

No. Deployments are single-tenant on your cloud project, and AI features can run on self-hosted open-weight models so nothing crosses your boundary.

Giffy is built by Infiflex Technologies Pvt. Ltd., a Google Cloud and Microsoft partner headquartered in Kolkata, India, serving customers across cloud, workspace, and business-software needs.
