Block User from Sharing PAN CARD Details over The Mail using Content Compliance And Regex
We've applied a Regex-based content rule to detect and quarantine/reject emails with PAN Card information, enhancing email security and compliance for both incoming and outgoing messages.
As a Workspace administrator, using Content Compliance and Regex, you can block an outgoing mail (from the Domain) which contains PAN card Details.
Steps to Create the Compliance Rule Using Regex:
1.Login to admin console (admin.google.com)> use Super Admin credentials > Select Apps from the Dashboard>Google WorkSpace>Select Gmail
2. Inside the Gmail Setting Select Compliance > Go to Content Compliance And Click on Add Another Rule
3. Give a name as per your requirement (Here we are blocking only Outside mail sending with PAN card, you can change as per your requirement).
4. Now Click on the Add Expression from point 2
5.Select the Advance Content Match from the Dropdown Menu
6.Select the Match Type “Matches regex” and use the “[A-Z]{5}[0-9]{4}[A-Z]{1}” Regex Syntax for PAN Card, and Save the Setting
7. Now Point 3 “If the above expressions match, do the following” option select Reject Message, provide a rejection Custom notice and save the Compliance Rule.
