Set up Google Voice Desk Phones in Batches with Google Sheets
Google Voice admins can now import desk phone information in batches using Google Sheets. Previously, G Suite user could add single desk phone at a time. One Can Assign Desktop Phones to a large number of Users or assign a different user to the phone.
Google Voice admins can now import desk phone information in batches using Google Sheets. Previously, G Suite users could add a single desk phone at a time. This new feature will make it easier for users to add multiple desk phones at a time, similar to how G Suite users can batch assign phone numbers and port in existing numbers.
This feature has been automatically rolled out in Rapid Released Domain by the end of September i.e 26th Sept’ 19 along with Schedule released Domain. This feature is available in all G Suite Editions with Google Voice standard and Google Voice Premium Subscription but is not available on Google Voice Starter Subscription. This feature will be available or ON by default.
To Setup Desktop Phones: In any organization one can setup Desktop Phones with Google voice. These phones let the employees make and receive calls over the internet instead of over dedicated phone lines.
Before Setting Up:

Provide power to the phone using a separate power adapter or POE(Power over Ethernet) cable.

After that, connect to the internet.

Find the MAC Address of the phone. It’s printed on the back of the phone or shown in the settings panel of the phone.

Organization or G Suite Users have to make sure that they assign a phone only to those who have Voice license and number.
Add Desk phones for Voice:

From Admin Console Home Page, go to Apps> G Suite> Google Voice> Service Management.

Click on Desk Phones. Admin Console Panel will show the list of Desk Phones.

In the upper right, Click on Add Desk Phones.

At MAC address, enter the MAC Address of the phone.

At User Name, put user want to assign the Voice License.

At DeskPhone Name tab, enter a name that identifies the Desk Phone.

Click Next.

In the Desk Phone Added Box, Click Close.
Add DeskPhones for Voice in batches:

From Admin Console Home Page, go to Apps> G Suite> Google Voice> Service Management.

Click on Desk Phones. Admin Console Panel will show the list of Desk Phones.

In the upper right, Click on Add Desk Phones. A new window will open with options to make a new list or use an existing one.

Click Start New List or Use Existing:

To Start a New List: Voice creates a spreadsheet with the filename, "New user desk phones on date."

Use Existing—A window opens showing your existing spreadsheets.

Choose the name of the spreadsheet you want to use. To use a sheet that isn't listed in the file, at the top, click Upload.

Click Select.
