Send a Response to the Sender That the User is No Longer in the Organization
Sometimes there is a requirement if a user leaves the organization, the user’s email id becomes non-existent in your domain. For this we need to configure catch all account for the domain.
Further if you want the particular mails of a deleted user to be forwarded to any of your existing users in the domain and also send a response to the sender from your catch all account, you can refer the following steps:
Log in to account where you want to set up “Out of Office” using Canned Response.
Set up a new filter for the particular user by clicking on the Settings-->Filter Tab → Create a new filter
In the To field add the email id of the desired user(e.g test@xyz.com)
Also check the canned response radio button and select a suitable canned response message which will be delivered to the sender as-is
Type Message which you want to use in Canned response & Save it.
