Productivity Suite
Word Processing
Google has autosave, which is critical, Google has better native editing features.
Word looks very similar to its Office 2013 desktop variant, and therefore, probably better suited for users already familiar with the product, The ability to edit PDF documents with Word is a plus.
Presentation
Both more than suitable for large enterprises when considering that advanced presentation is often left to experienced designers, not productivity suite users.

Spreadsheet
Native editing features, Lack in complex formula compatibilty
Native editing features as MS Office, Complex formula compatibilty
Other
G Suite Forms helps to make up for its lacking in the spreadsheet department, Google clearly understands the need for validated data entry, Google’s Drawing application was most likely created for users restricted to a single web browser or Chromebook. Similar to Microsoft’s Paint program with a few extra features.
OneNote is probably one of the most underrated – underutilized - applications on the market. The interface is almost a spitting image of the Office 2013 desktop version.
Sharing & Collaboration
Google has real-time collaboration on everything except forms. The means for collaboration, a color-coded legend listing each collaborating user at the top right of your screen that corresponds to highlighted entries on the document. Simple yet highly effective.
Office Web Apps also has near real-time collaboration. Added bonus of allowing desktop users to connect with users in the cloud. However, changes aren’t seen until a co-authoring user saves changes to the document. Furthermore, changes are limited to access controlled objects or areas of a document.
Offline Editing
Google only supports offline editing for Document on the Chrome browser only.
Office 365 supports Office Web Apps in its entirety. Office 365 offline editing is also facilitated by the provision of local Office apps by Microsoft as part of the subscription price (applicable to Office 365 Small Business Premium, Office 365 Midsize Business, and E3/E4 plans)
Revision/Versioning
Both have pretty decent features for both viewing and restoring revision history. However, both fail to support CVS (Concurrent Versioning System), which makes them bad candidates for large enterprises.

Import & Export
Manual importing and exporting of documents and provide related storage capabilities where documents can be kept. Good drag-and-drop features and the ability to import multiple files and even entire folders. Migration of large file systems might be tricky for either service, which is why they may not be suitable for large enterprises.

Calendar
Organization
Google makes calendar creation extremely easy, as it uses each calendar as a means for users to discern between various types of events. Additionally, one can create separate calendars, but is relegated to one calendar at a time, where G Suite' Calendar allows for (event) overlays. In terms of calendar views, both sport a typical day, week and month type of approach, with some slight variation when it comes to a few additional perspectives.
Microsoft, as they have always done with Outlook, allows users to differentiate amongst events predominately through color-coded labels and categories. Additionally, one can create separate calendars, but is relegated to one calendar at a time. Exchange Online is rather clunky and slow.
Appointment
The Google Calendar also allows you to attach files, but stores any attached file in Google Drive.
Exchange Online doesn't do this, as one can attach a file acute to the appointment.
Notification
Google Calendar has three ways to notify a user of an upcoming event. That being through e-mail, SMS, or by way of an in-app pop-up.
The Exchange Online calendar allows you to setup reminders, but currently does not offer the same type of desktop integrated alerts one is used to with on-premise versions of Outlook.
Sharing
G Suite' calendar allows for delegation or the assigning of ownership over a particular calendar. Furthermore, permissions can be modified down to a single event instead of entire calendar. One can also embed calendars publicly to a Google Site or a even website external to a G Suite domain. Publish calendars also allows external users to create appointment in open slots, as dictated by the calendar's author.
Exchange Online, one can share free/busy calendar data with users inside and outside of an organization, so long as both are supporting Exchange Server 2010, through a Microsoft Federated Gateway. Exchange Online also allows users to publish their calendar using the iCal format, across multiple platforms.
